What size storage units do you offer?

Our self storage units range in size from 5’x5’, which is about the size of a walk-in closet, all the way up to our 10’x30’ and 20’x20’ units, which are similar in size to a large garage.

Is there anything I can’t store in my unit?

We don’t allow the storage of the following items:

  • Firearms or ammunition
  • Hazardous materials
  • Flammable or combustible material
  • Food
  • Stolen items
  • Unregistered vehicles
  • Illicit substances

What are the access hours of your facilities?

Our storage facilities are accessible between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm every day. Contact your nearest Arizona Self Storage for more information!

Do you offer truck rentals?

Yes! Penske moving truck rentals are available at our Glendale, Oro Valley, Sahuarita and East Tucson locations.  Our Litchfield Park, Peoria and Tucson Foothills locations provide new customers with free use of our moving truck at move-in.

Do I need to bring my own lock?

We require renters to provide their own locks.  We sell approved disc locks at a competitive price for your convenience. Customers that choose to enroll in our auto-pay program will be provided a free disc.  Our Peoria and Tucson Foothills locations are equipped with Noke Smart Entry access that replaces a traditional lock and provides locking controls and unit access directly from your smartphone.

Do you have climate controlled storage units?

Many of our storage facilities offer some level of climate control in select units.

  • Our air-cooled storage units are kept cooler than the temperature outside with evaporative coolers.
  • Our air-conditioned storage units feature even stronger cooling and temperature control than our air-cooled units.
  • Our fully climate controlled storage units maintain a regulated temperature the whole year, no matter what the temperature is outside.

Do you offer vehicle storage?

Yes! Many of our storage facilities such as Litchfield Park and Oro Valley offer car, RV, and boat storage. You can choose between uncovered parking, covered parking, partially-enclosed parking, and our Sahuarita location features a massive, fully-enclosed RV parking barn.  Additionally, our large drive-up storage units provide desirable fully enclosed storage options for most cars, boats and smaller vehicles.

Do you offer RV storage features?

Our RV storage locations offer dump stations and trickle charge for most covered storage spaces.  Our Litchfield Park RV storage facility provides complimentary amenities such as fresh water and air fill stations, RV wash bay and vacuum system, dump stations and more.  Amenities vary at each facility, so be sure to take a look at your nearest facility and ask our professional manager for unit specific details.

Do your storage units have drive-up access?

Yes! Many of our facilities offer drive-up access storage units, where you can pull your vehicle up right in front of your unit for easy loading and unloading.  Drive-up units are preferred by  customers that access their units often or plan to store a small vehicle, jet ski or boat inside.

Do your storage facilities have security features?

We offer best-in-class security features to provide a secure, safe and comfortable storage experience.  Our storage facilities are all fully enclosed, well lit and only accessible by electronic access gates. Our locations also have onsite professional managers, security cameras with 24-hour Virtual Guard and several of our facilities feature laser grid motion detection.  Noke Smart Entry System provides additional security at our Tucson Foothills and Peoria storage facilities.

How do I pay my bill?

You can pay your bill online from the comfort of your home, and even set up auto pay so you never have to worry about forgetting to make a payment.

We do require renters to have storage tenant insurance, but we make the process simple by partnering with SafeLease Tenant Insurance. SafeLease Tenant Insurance offers storage specific coverage for only $13 a month, and it’s easy to sign up when you rent your unit.

How long is a lease on a storage unit?

Our storage unit leases are all month-to-month, so you’ll never be locked into a long contract.

While we do have a late payment fee in place, we proudly offer a guarantee of zero late fees if you opt for our convenient automatic payment setup. This ensures you’ll never make a late payment and a worry-free self storage experience.

What is the one-year rate lock guarantee?

We offer our customers peace of mind with our commitment to keeping the rental rate constant throughout the entire year. In contrast, many national brands entice customers with tremendously low initial move-in rates, followed by frequent and significant rate increases. Do you charge a deposit or additional fees?

We charge a one-time $20 administrative fee instead of requiring a traditional deposit.

Do you match competitor pricing?

We do not price match competitors, as we believe our pricing is stable and fair, and we guarantee that price for a full year. Our competitors start with extremely low rates to attract customers and then sharply increase prices repeatedly, making them more expensive than our initial cost. Our pricing is designed for long-term cost-effectiveness, ensuring the best value for our customers.
